Who's Running is a neutral public directory for Florida candidate and race records. This page describes the current website and the planned iPhone app privacy posture.
Current Privacy Posture
- No account is required to use the public directory.
- No paid candidate visibility, paid ranking, or paid public search access is offered.
- No analytics SDK, ad network, or tracking SDK is used by the MVP app plan.
- No precise location, contacts, camera, photos, health, or financial permissions are requested.
- No private or suppressed address data is published in the public UI.
Public Records Data
Candidate and race records are imported from public election records, Florida election sources, county Supervisor of Elections sources, county CSV imports, and related official or administrative sources. Public pages show source-backed directory information for review and navigation.
Official records can change, lag, or contain corrections. Who's Running is not the legal filing authority for any election. When a public page conflicts with an official election source, the official source controls.
Website requests
The service may process IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested path, search terms, filters, and standard HTTPS request metadata in hosting or server logs.
Support email
If you contact support, your email address and the information you choose to include are used to review and respond to the request.
Local storage
The public website does not require an account. Normal browser behavior may cache pages or assets on your device.
External Services
The website is hosted on DigitalOcean App Platform with DigitalOcean Managed PostgreSQL. The public MVP does not use advertising, affiliate links, analytics SDKs, payment providers, maps, AI tools, or third-party tracking SDKs.
Corrections And Deletion
Users may report suspected data issues, stale records, broken links, or support problems by email. You may request deletion of support emails or submitted support information by contacting [email protected].
Children
Who's Running is not directed to children under 13.
